Are your holidays booked? Are you expected to be in several places at the same time while supposedly on vacation? Do you have no free time to do anything you want? Well that sounds terribly stressful. I’m very sorry for you. For those of you who aren’t doing anything, here are some interesting suggestions of things you could do while basking in the freedom that you only get a few times a year.

  1. Grace the cinematic world with your presence.

Go see a movie. There have been many different movies advertised throughout the past few months. People have been preparing for some of these for a whole year. Here are some suggestions if you are looking for a new and exciting movie to go see.

  • Star Wars: The Last Jedi
  • Ferdinand
  • Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
  • The Greatest Showman
  • Pitch Perfect 3
  • Justice League
  • Thor: Ragnarok
  • Coco
  1. Develop a better relationship with your bed.

In my opinion, one of the best things you can do when you have free time (or when you don’t have free time) is sleep. It’s good for you, dreams can be fun, and usually, people are less likely to bother you if they think you are asleep. Sleeping is a good way to spend time during the holidays.

  1. Get a life.

I’m sure your life now is very interesting, but if you are often bored, you should probably consider getting a hobby. This is a list of a few hobbies you may want to consider:

  • Writing
  • Drawing
  • Puzzling
  • Cooking
  • Knitting
  • Lego building
  • Making friendship bracelets
  • Underwater basket weaving
  • Quitting
  1. Find your way into the minuscule world of tiny sports.

A few tiny sports may include but are not limited to:

  • Mini golf
  • Mini pool
  • Mini tennis
  • Mini Ping-Pong
  • Mini volleyball
  • Mini badminton
  • Mini judo
  • Mini gymnastics
  • Mini archery
  1. Find time to peruse a novel. (or 10)

Many people read for pleasure. Personally, I believe reading can be enjoyable for anyone, if they find the right book. Everyone is different, so you should look for the type of books you enjoy reading for a new one. For those of you who don’t know where to start looking for books, I will offer some of my favorites as suggestions:

  • Harry Potter Series
  • Percy Jackson Series
  • The Hunger Games Trilogy
  • The Lone City Trilogy
  • The Selection Series
  1. Ponder the meaning of life.

Discover yourself this holiday season. Take time to contemplate the universe.

No matter what you do this holiday season, you should take some time to spend with those closest to you. So, whether you have tons of time, or no time at all, I hope you enjoy yourself this Christmas season.
