Stress spreads like a rampant disease when it comes to finals week. Although stress can be a key to survive, too much stress can be devastating. Emotional stress that stays around for weeks or longer can weaken your immune system, cause high blood pressure, fatigue, depression, anxiety, headaches, and much more. However, instead of just setting aside your stress here are some simple ways to get rid of it.

  1. Get more sleep (set a schedule on what to study each night)
  2.  Talk to someone about how you feel or what your stressed about
  3. Time Management-As Mr. Hubbard says, “Start early, end happy.”
  4. Learn to say, ‘no’ – Avoid making to many other commitments to other people.
  5. Establish a healthy diet (but who honestly keeps a good diet?)
  6.  Stay away from caffeine and sugar.
  7. Exersise
  8. Avoid comparing yourself to others
  9. Take a 15 minute break every once and a while when studying.
  10. Laugh
  11. Listen to calming music (such as the piano guys)
  12. Stay organized
  13. Positive thinking
  14. Eat/ Snack
  15. DON’T PROCRASTINATE
