At the first of each month, the teachers are asked to think of two students who exemplify hard work, kindness, and respect and then vote for them. The two students with the most votes are named the Students of the Month. For their reward they get a coveted parking spot in the northwest corner of the student parking lot and their choice of a candy bar and pop.

For the month of February, the teachers voted Hugo Plancarte and Kayci Younger as the Students of the Month. They described Hugo as a very kind and compassionate person. Some activities that Hugo is involved in are Pep Band, Marching Band, and Serendipity. Teachers explained that Kayci is a very hard working student who always does her best at everything she does. Kayci is a member of the girls basketball team and was on the volleyball team last fall. Each of these students worked very hard to earn their position as Student of the Month. Congratulations!
