COVID-19

Later in the evening on Monday, March 16, 2020, Grace School District decided to cancel school for three weeks as a precaution of COVID-19. A respiratory illness that is spread from person to person by respiratory droplets that are created when a person coughs or sneezes. It is also possible that the virus can be spread by touching infected surfaces and then touching their own mouth, nose, or eyes.

Possible symptoms: mild to severe respiratory illness, fever, cough, and shortness of breath.

Prevention: avoid close contact with people who are sick, avoid touching your mouth, nose, and eyes with unwashed hands, wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least twenty seconds, and use alcohol based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are unavailable.

If you are sick: stay home, cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and throw the tissue away, and frequently clean and disinfect objects and surfaces.

Even though we have been asked to practice social distancing and have been advised to self-quarentine, it does not mean that we cannot make the most of the time we have off.

Activities You Can Participate in While Under Quarentine:
1) John Legend, Pink, and other artists are entertaining their fans by streaming performances online for free.
